Imagine asking a child, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and she politely responds, “I want to be a true human being.” That would be a great answer.
We should educate our children to aspire to be truly human. Everything else is secondary. Because when they focus on being genuinely human, whatever they do will be done well. It will be appropriate for a human being. Their actions will be ethical, fair, and good.
Teach children to seek their place in nature first and foremost. Everything else will follow. This concept aligns with the idea of seeking one’s kingdom—finding one’s true place in the world. When this is achieved, everything else is given in addition.
Imagine how interesting and remarkable a society like that would be. A society where the primary goal is to cultivate true humanity in every individual, ensuring that all actions are just and kind. This is the foundation of a harmonious and thriving community.
